For the trailer of the fictional true crime podcast »Im Schatten der Tat«, I developed a suspenseful sound design that creates a dense, mysterious atmosphere with dramaturgically coordinated voices, sound effects and music. The gloomy mood was intensified through the targeted use of equalizers, reverb and microphone effects as well as soundscapes such as rain, police sirens and disturbing sounds. The mixture of narrator's voice, witness statements and investigator's dialog builds up a captivating dramaturgy and makes the trailer a gripping introduction to the world of unsolved crimes.
